Congratulations on your new addition!
Newborns are my passion and I would be honored to photograph this new chapter in your lives.
The newborn should be between 5-14 days old at the time of the session, with the 5-9 day range being my preference. The "older" the newborn gets the more difficult the session can be so it is so important to get your session scheduled as soon as possible. To ensure a spot on my calendar it's best to set up your newborn session before the baby is born. All newborn sessions are done in my in-home studio. Most of newborn sessions start between 9/10 in the morning when baby is still exhausted from keeping you up all night. I don't do newborn sessions later in the day because the baby sleeps most deeply in the morning and sessions that begin later in the day, in my experience, are not as successful as morning sessions. Newborn sessions vary in length but can be between 1.5 to 4 hours long because the baby will likely need to feed, potty, and fuss, repeat.
I provide all props, wraps, and attire for newborns so you don't need to worry about a thing!

This session is one of my favorites:
- this session needs to be done between 5-14 day (preferably before 10 days) your sweet baby is "flexible" and I will be able to put them in these cute poses.
- at this point your baby will still be a very newborn but most of the wrinkles from birth are no longer there
- even though your exhausted you have had some time to recover from birth and you can enjoy watching me work and take care of your baby while you sit back and just relax and enjoy the experience.
FAQ's
CAN WE HAVE OUR SESSION ON THE WEEKEND?
Sessions are held Monday-Friday. If necessary we can open the studio on Weekends; however, please let us know well ahead of time to check availability. Weekend sessions are an additional €100.
HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION TAKE?
An average newborn session takes 2-4 hours however your baby will not be rushed if they need a little more time! Your Baby is boss and we will take as many feeding breaks as s/he needs.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Your newborn session will be a day to remember! The session is €250 and includes everything we need to create beautiful portraits of your new baby – bowls, fabrics, wraps and bonnets are all ready for you. CAN WE HAVE A FAMILY PHOTO DURING THE SESSION?
Yes of course! As a matter of fact we encourage parents and siblings to get in the photos! As parents we have a habit of hiding behind the camera but in years to come your children will ask where you are. As part of booking your session you will receive a Preparation Guide to help you decide on appropriate clothing and makeup.
CAN WE PURCHASE DIGITAL COPIES?
My focus is on creating prints that will last you a lifetime and that can be passed on. With that in mind I offer a combination of digitals and products.
WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE THE PHOTOS?
Preparing your images for viewing takes some time. Please allow about 2 weeks for the creative process. At that point you will come back to my studio and we will go through all of the purchasing options together.
